Five local schools participated in a schools talk show competition coordinated by Pigg’s Peak Town Council in collaboration with the Regional Education Office (REO), Royal Eswatini Police under Crime Prevention Unit and HealthPlus4Men.
This was a two-day function held on the 8th and 9th November 2023 where topics relating to drug abuse, teenage pregnancy and crime prevention were discussed by the scholars both from primary and high schools. The participants used the platform to discuss the causes, consequences and solutions to the social issues as they affect the town and the entire country. Outstanding individuals and groups were awarded tokens of appreciation and trophies, respectively while all participants were awarded certificates of participation.
