In an effort to improve the condition of the service road in one the residential places (Killarney), that has sixteen (16) flats and five (5) residential plots, Council has constructed a 95 metres concrete road namely Paradise Service Road, which has already been completed at a cost of E483 000.
Previously, the road was slippery during the rainy season, making it difficult for residents of this area to drive. During the project handover, on Monday, 31st September 2022, Town Council CEO, Mzwandile Ndzinisa said such a development will make the lives of residents easier since they struggled to access their place(s) of abode during rainy days and wet weather conditions.

On a similar note, the organization has recently handed over market stalls worth E77 000.00 to 16 vendors operating next to Mhlatane High School. Through this project, Council has recognised vendors as an important stakeholder due to their immense contribution in the development of the town.
It is worth noting that previously the vendors were exposed to harsh weather conditions such as rain, sunshine and wind, which Council believes they will now enjoy the improved working environment. During the project handover, the vendors extended their gratitude and excitement towards Council and how the organization has consistently prioritised their needs. They also expressed how they believed Council would ensure their items were safe 24/7.
