Register to Vote! Voter registration for Local Government Elections is underway
Registration for the 2022/2023 Eswatini Local Government Elections has commenced since the 16th January 2023 till the 24th February 2023.
In order to influence the development of Pigg’s Peak town; property owners, business community, residents and occupiers of immovable properties in the town of Pigg’s Peak are encouraged to register for the 2022/2023 Local Government Elections. Worth mentioning is that anyone who is registered as a voter may be voted for as a Councillor.

Are you eligible to register as a voter?
You are eligible to register as a voter if you meet the following requirements:
- You must be a Liswati, aged 18 and above at the time of registration.
- You must own property in the Pigg’s Peak urban area.
- You must have resided in the urban area for more than six months, or legally carried a business in town/ urban area for more than six months.
- You must be an occupier (spouse to property owner) of a property in Pigg’s Peak town.
- You must be a juristic person representative (representing a company operating in town).
What are the documents required for registration?
- Eswatini Identity Document (ID)
- Proof of residence (water bill, electricity bill, lease agreement, etc)
- Proof of property ownership (title deed or leasehold document)
- Marriage certificate for an occupier
- Proof of authorization (for juristic person: it should be Form J, minutes of shareholders’ meeting where resolution appointing juristic person was taken).
