Piggs Peak Council

Owing Ratepayers have only 15 days to settle their debts or else…

On the 15th March 2023, Pigg’s Peak Town Council (PPTC) will hand over rates defaulters to her attorney, who will take legal action following that they have failed to settle their debts or even engage with the Town Council on time.

According to the Acting Town Treasurer, Mr. Clement Dlamini, Council issued final demand notices in December 2022 to the defaulters where they were given until January 31st 2023 to settle their debts. P.P.T.C. relies on rates collection in order to facilitate service delivery in the urban area, hence the organisation’s performance gets compromised in the event owing ratepayers fail to settle their dues.
