COUNCIL CELEBRATES THE MONTH OF LOVE WITH AN EMPLOYEE WELLNESS DAY

On the 17th February, Piggs Peak Town Council celebrated the month of love through an event focused on employee wellness where mental health, financial wellness, love and GBV, cancer awareness and diabetes wellness awareness were some of the topics discussed.

WHY IS EMPLOYEE WELLNESS IMPORTANT?

Council recognises employee wellness as crucial, due to the following reasons:

• it helps employees perform better
• boosts employee morale
• enhances job satisfaction
• prevents lost time due to illness, stress or absenteeism
