On Tuesday, donors from the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in partnership with Young Heroes visited beneficiaries of the project; Phila Unotse “Be Healthy, economically stable and informed” in Pigg’s Peak.
These beneficiaries consist of the youth who were trained last year by Young Heroes in collaboration with the Town Council and further given start up kits for small businesses such as Nails and make up, mobile money and hairdressing.
When asked about the impact of the project in their lives, the beneficiaries expressed gratitude and excitement about the opportunity stating that it has given lifetime skills and greatly changed their lives for better.
