Buganu Festival

The Buganu Festival is a vibrant and culturally significant event celebrated in Eswatini, centered around the marula fruit (known as "buganu" in siSwati). This festival brings communities together in a joyous celebration of tradition, music, and dance while also highlighting the importance of marula in local customs and economic empowerment, particularly for women.

We fully support the Buganu Festival and its role in preserving cultural heritage, promoting sustainability, and empowering local communities. The festival not only strengthens traditional values but also provides economic opportunities through marula-based products such as oils, beverages, and cosmetics. By embracing and championing this annual celebration, we recognize its importance in fostering unity, tourism, and economic growth in Eswatini.
