On Saturday, the 16th September 2023 Council will hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Gobolondlo Hall. Through this meeting, the organization is able to meet with its stakeholders from various sectors in order to report back to them about performance of previous financial year and also input from the stakeholders on how to improve going forward.
AGMs are crucial for promoting organizational transparency and accountability since stakeholders are able to raise their concerns and criticisms which in turn helps the Council to improve in service delivery. Council, therefore, invites stakeholders to attend the AGM as their opinions are significant in the development of Pigg’s Peak.
The following weekend, after the AGM Council will visit all the wards of the town, in order to conduct consultative budget meetings. These meetings are crucial as Council prepares for the new financial year’s budget because input from stakeholders and residents about the projects and programmes are gathered, discuss its feasibility and the value it will add into the future development of the town.
